Blessing of the Animals
In celebration of the upcoming Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of all God’s creations, our parish will hold a Blessing of the Animals service. Fr. Thomas will offer a special blessing for our beloved pets who demonstrate so selflessly the unconditional love of God.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 5 at 11 a.m. in the lawn between the church and the rectory. Cats, dogs, hamsters, birds...all animals are welcome (and all should be appropriately leashed or crated).
