Assumption Church Ladies Guild
Love thy neighbor with one small act of kindness at a time.
Purpose
To identify and assist in meeting parish needs
To support not only the needs of the church but our local community
To foster friendship and spiritual well-being among parishioners
Membership
Every female age 18 or older is a member and is encouraged to participate in all activities as able
Services
Based on the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy
- Provide bereavement dinners
- Host receptions for parishioners following First Communion, Confirmation, and other special occasions
- Prepare baskets for the homebound and nursing home residents on holidays
- Send sunshine cards
- Deliver simple meals to parishioners' homes following discharge from the hospital or nursing home, birth of a baby, or during a time of crisis
- Pray for those with special needs
- Assist with Helping Hands
- Donate to Warm the Children
- Donate to Family Crisis Center
- Donate to local Food Pantry
- Visit the sick
